We design and build custom CRM systems for Canadian businesses whose sales process has outgrown spreadsheets, or hit the limits of off-the-shelf platforms. Pipeline, contacts, deals, reporting, and the integrations that make them useful. Plus the surrounding custom development when a CRM project needs it.
Custom pipeline stages, native email and calendar sync, line-of-sight from first touch to invoice.
CRM is where most sales and operations work actually happens. Done right it is a competitive advantage. Done wrong (or bought off a shelf and never customized) it becomes shelfware your team avoids. Here is how we approach it.
Ground-up CRM systems for teams who have outgrown spreadsheets or hit the limits of off-the-shelf platforms. Pipeline stages matching your sales process, custom deal fields, native integrations with your existing stack. You own the code, data, and infrastructure.
Extending existing CRMs where off-the-shelf stops. Salesforce Apex and Lightning components, HubSpot CMS modules and serverless functions, Zoho Deluge scripts, Pipedrive apps. Keep what works, add the specific logic your business actually needs.
Connect your CRM to email, calendar, VoIP, billing, support, and data warehouse. Two-way sync with conflict resolution, webhook endpoints for custom logic, monitoring on every integration so broken syncs get flagged in minutes not months.
Move between CRM platforms with data integrity preserved. Contact deduplication, deal history retention, custom field mapping, attachment transfer, user permissions carried over. Dry-run migrations in staging before a single record touches production.
Pipeline analytics, forecasting dashboards, lead scoring built on top of CRM data. Plus the surrounding custom dev that CRM projects often need: internal admin tools, APIs for partner integration, legacy system wrappers, authentication work.
Not every business needs a custom CRM. For those that do, we build systems that fit your actual sales process. For those that need to extend an existing platform, we work inside HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zoho. For those with data stuck in the wrong place, we move it cleanly.
Custom makes sense when off-the-shelf CRMs force you to reshape your business around their data model, or per-user licensing fees scale badly, or your sales process involves domain-specific logic no generic CRM handles well. We build custom when the ROI case is clear, and recommend off-the-shelf when it is not.
Stack we useMost teams do not need a new CRM, they need their existing one extended. We write Salesforce Apex, HubSpot CMS modules, Zoho Deluge scripts, and the integration glue that connects CRM to the rest of your stack: email, VoIP, calendar, billing, support, data warehouse. Every integration has health monitoring on it.
Platforms & integrationsPlatform migrations preserve data integrity: contact deduplication, deal history, custom field mapping, attachments. Dry-run in staging before any record touches production. Analytics built on top: pipeline velocity, forecast accuracy, conversion by source, time-to-close by segment. Dashboards your sales leadership actually opens.
Approaches & toolsMost CRM work ends with data locked in a platform you cannot leave, integrations held together with duct tape and prayer, and per-user fees that scale faster than your team. Here is how we work differently.
For custom builds, everything lives in your git repository, your cloud account, your database. For platform customization work, we document everything and leave it where your team can maintain it.
Your CRM data is your crown jewels. It never leaves your control.
Every integration (email, calendar, VoIP, billing, warehouse) has health monitoring and alerting. When a sync breaks you know within minutes, not when sales notices missing contacts next quarter. Automated retry logic for transient failures.
"It worked when we shipped it" is not a guarantee. "It is working right now, and if it stops we know within five minutes" is.
Boring, battle-tested stack: TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Next.js. Not whichever framework trended on Twitter last month. Not AI-generated spaghetti. Not clever patterns nobody can maintain.
And honest scope: 6-12 week engagements that ship a working CRM, not 18-month contracts that die in scope creep.
Off-the-shelf wins when your sales process is relatively standard, you have fewer than roughly 20 users, and licensing costs stay below ~$30k/year. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho all do good work for standard use cases, and you get continuous feature updates for free.
Custom wins when: your sales process involves domain-specific logic no CRM handles natively; per-user licensing scales badly (50+ users at $100-150/mo each adds up fast); you need deep integration with proprietary internal systems; or you have strict data residency or PIPEDA requirements that commercial SaaS cannot cleanly meet. We assess which bracket you are actually in, honestly.
For custom builds: Next.js + PostgreSQL + Prisma + tRPC as the default stack. Supabase for teams that want the hosted option, self-hosted Postgres for teams that need full data control.
For platform customization: Salesforce (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow), HubSpot (CMS modules, serverless functions, workflows), Zoho (Deluge scripts, Creator apps), Pipedrive (API extensions, custom app development). Comfortable in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SugarCRM for legacy work.
Migration runs as a staged project: discovery (what fields, what relationships, what custom logic lives in the current CRM), mapping (how source fields map to target, what gets dropped, what gets consolidated), dry-run (full migration into a staging environment with validation reports comparing source vs target), then cutover (production migration during a planned window with rollback plan).
Deduplication, deal history preservation, attachment transfer, user permission mapping all handled. Validation reports show you record counts, field completeness, and any records that failed migration (and why) before you sign off.
CRM data is often the most PIPEDA-sensitive data a Canadian business holds: contact details, interaction history, preferences, deal values. For custom builds, we host on your own cloud account in Canadian regions (AWS ca-central-1, Azure Canada Central, Google Cloud northamerica-northeast1). Data stays under your legal control.
For commercial CRMs, HubSpot and Salesforce both offer Canadian data residency at Enterprise tiers. We help you assess what residency commitments your contract actually gives you (not what the sales deck implies).
Yes, these are standard CRM integration patterns. Common integrations we build: Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for email + calendar two-way sync, Twilio or Dialpad for VoIP with call logging and recording, Stripe or QuickBooks for invoicing with revenue attribution back to deals, Zendesk or Freshdesk for support ticket visibility inside CRM, Snowflake or BigQuery for warehouse integration.
Each integration has health monitoring built in: sync status, last-successful-run timestamp, failure alerting. Broken syncs get flagged in minutes, not when sales notices missing data next quarter.
Standard data export is built in from day one. The CRM database is yours, in your Postgres instance, queryable with standard SQL. Export to CSV, JSON, Parquet, or direct migration into HubSpot/Salesforce/other platforms is straightforward because the data model is documented and your team has full access.
If you move to a commercial CRM later, migration from a custom system is often simpler than migrating between two commercial CRMs because you have full schema control on the source side. We stay available for migration support if you need us.
